Get Your Ham Radio License

The first thing you should do to get involved in Ham Radio is to study for and take the exam(s) and get your radio operator license.  With good materials and dedication on your part, you will have no problem studying for and passing your license exams.  There are three levels of ham radio license:  Technician, General, & Extra.  You start with Technician and that will get you to a point where you can legally operate a ham radio within that levels band plan privileges.  From there, you can choose whether to go forward and continue to study for and pass your General and Your Extra.
